Chapter 1 Personal Information Protection
Article 1 (Basic Obligations of KBS KBSSO)
The “KBSSO” collects the minimum information necessary to provide the “Service” when a “Member” registers or signs up for the “Service”.
The “KBSSO” is obligated to do its best to secure the information of the “Member” by taking the best safety measures for the security of the “Member's” personal information (including credit information) so that the “Member” can use the “Service” safely.
Article 2 (Collection of Personal Information)
The “KBSSO” collects the following personal information from the “Member”.
1. Name (required)
2. E-mail address (required)
3. ID (required)
4. Password (encrypted and managed, and the KBSSO will not utilize the information, required)
5. Cell phone (required)
6. Address and shipping address (required)
By providing the required items in Paragraph 1, the Customer qualifies as a “Member”. The Customer may refuse to provide such items, in which case the Customer shall not be eligible to become a Member. However, the same shall not apply to optional items.
③ The KBSSO shall obtain the consent of the Customer when collecting personally identifiable information of the Member. (The Member shall be deemed to have agreed to the Terms of Membership by reading the Terms of Membership, clicking the “I Agree” button, and filling out the application form by himself/herself).
④ The “KBSSO” takes various security measures to adequately protect the data of the “Members” to an appropriate extent.
1. All Member information is stored on secure servers protected from access from other networks by software firewalls.
Only employees who need the information to fulfill a specific request or order have access to the data, and they are trained in the safe handling of the data.
The Member may access, modify, and delete the stored data of personal information created by the Member at any time.
Article 3 (Utilization of Personal Information)
The “KBSSO” may utilize the collected personal information as follows.
1. Sending promotional materials, information, event results, etc. via email, short message service (SMS/LMS/MMS), and mail (but only to those who agree to receive them)
2. Statistical analysis using demographic information
The “KBSSO” implements an identity verification procedure by entrusting a credit rating agency when signing up.
③ The “KBSSO” shall not provide the collected personal information other than Article 17, Paragraph 2 to a third party or consignment company without obtaining separate consent. However, in the following cases, it may be provided without consent.
1. When there is a special provision in the law (even if it is requested by an administrative or investigative agency in accordance with the law, personal information will not be provided unconditionally, and will only be provided in accordance with a warrant or a written document bearing the seal of the head of the agency as stipulated in the law).
2. When it is necessary for statistical compilation, academic research, or market research and is provided in a form that does not identify a specific individual.
④ The period of retention and use of personal information collected by the “KBSSO” shall be three (3) years, and shall be extended by three (3) consecutive years if the individual does not have a separate intention to terminate.
Article 4 (Handling of Personal Information)
① All matters related to the management, destruction, access request, correction request, provision to third parties, and provision to contractors of other personal information shall be in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations and the Privacy Policy of the “KBSSO”.
The “KBSSO” is in charge of personal information protection as follows.

Article 5 (Jurisdictional Court)
If a lawsuit is filed for a dispute related to this Service, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the KBSSO's headquarters shall be the exclusive court of jurisdiction.
Addendum
These Terms are effective as of December 22, 2013.
These Terms are effective as of February 25, 2014, as amended.
These Terms shall be amended and restated as of January 2, 2024.
